Tejal Gupta – Compassionate Care in Healthcare - Student Research Spotlight

This project was conducted by Tejal Gupta as part of a service-learning partnership with Tulane University and the Pickney Foundation. The research explores compassionate care practices, implicit bias in medical decision-making, and systemic barriers faced by single mothers within the U.S. healthcare system. Through policy review, case study analysis, and advocacy recommendations, this student-led project contributes to the broader conversation on health equity and ethical care delivery.
